Get answers to commonly asked questions about New-Gen Mercury 7 II by Quickcharge.

This is a portable charger that can be brought to any place. It is known as a mode 2 charger, while public chargers are typically mode 3 and mode 4 chargers.

It is compatible with all vehicles that have a CCS2 connector, which is the most common type of connector on the EV vehicles in Singapore.

The power rating is 7kW. This charger allows the user to adjust the current rating, ranging from 10A to 32A, which translates to a range of 2.4kW to 7kW.

It depends on your vehicle’s battery capacity and the power output. If your vehicle’s battery capacity is 50kWh and you set the power to 7kW, it will take approximately 7.14 hours to fully charge the vehicle.

It is the most affordable solution in the market for a TR25 and LNO approved Mode 2 charger.

You will need a 3-pin 32A CEE form female socket. Depending on cable length, a typical installation cost for this type of plug for a landed property ranges from $1.3k to $1.5k before gst.

No. According to TR25, you need to have a mechanical interlocked switch socket-outlet conforming to the IEC 60309 standard for a mode 2 charger.

For the CEE form socket, we recommend having a certified LEW for installation. Our charger does not require LEW sign-off.

Yes, you will need to register with the LTA via the OneMotoring website. No future inspections are required.

Plug it into the power source, turn on the power supply, adjust the current and desired time, and then plug it into your vehicle. The charging will start automatically.
