Letter of No Objection (LNO) Granted for QuickCharge Aurora Series, Titan Series & Venus 30 EV Chargers test

Following the formation of the EMA-LTA Interim Joint Panel (IJP) to support the verification of Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) test reports and relevant documents, in compliance with EV charging standard TR25:2016, manufacturers, distributors, or motor dealers providing fixed EVSE to consumers are required to submit an application for a Letter of No Objection (LNO).

LNO is granted for QuickCharge Aurora series, Titan series and Venus 30 electric vehicle (EV) chargers. The Aurora series is a winner of the iF Design Award – one of the most sought after accolades for product design by industry standards. The Titan series of DC chargers for high power super-charging is suitable for commercial use. Venus 30 is an entry level DC charger that’s popular for residential and commercial use.

Before the LNO was granted, electrical installation and safety requirements to protect person and property against electrical hazards were met for connection to the EV according to accepted international practices and local conditions. As stipulated in guidelines by the relevant authorities to ensure proper installation of EV chargers, Licensed Electrical Workers (LEW) have to be appointed to check that the EV charger is issued with LNO to ensure that it complies with the technical requirements of TR25:2016 or the relevant International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) standards.

As a one-stop solutions provider for EVSE, QuickCharge’s customers need not engage LEWs for the installation works of QuickCharge’s EV chargers which are carried out by our in-house team of LEWs.

Through the proprietary QuickCharge app that allows connection flexibly via 4G, Wi-Fi, and Ethernet, each charge is activated upon scanning of unique QR codes, and charging can be remotely controlled with charging history recorded, or, simply with an RFID card.

Complimentary on-site evaluation will be conducted to assess the suitability for point of installation by QuickCharge. Call / WhatsApp +65 8036 3636, or, fill in this contact form to inquire or schedule for on-site evaluation.
